Thank you for your response to my post about kangarooing yesterday. I tried holding Cooper today, and didn't rock at all. As I was kangarooing, the parents of the baby next to us came in for the first time, so it got a little loud, so I made sushing noises like they suggest in Happiest Baby on the Block, and this seemed to help.

He did desat a little, but his Dr came and decreased the flow as I was holding him, so that may have been why.

He is doing great tonight- so I'm hoping that we can continue kangarooing and that he responds well to it.

Yeah!  I'm so glad that it went better this time.   When a nurse first told me about doing one thing at a time, I was a bit skeptical but after seeing how much it helped I realized just how right she was
