What annoys you about FB?

Here is my list:

1. The invitations for games, quizzes, "here's a drink from..." etc.

2. Help "blank" find friends.

3.  When people use it to sell their products.

4.  YoVille, FarmVille and all the other things that people publish.

ETA: Other than that I love FB! : )

Oh, I totally hate all the things that people publish from game apps.  I have all of those hidden and it is so much better!

I also hate seeing like 20 status updates from the same person, in 1 day!

People who NON STOP say "I love my husband/fiance/son/daughter!!!", ok, I get it you LOVE your kids and husband/fiance.  Good for you!

I also hate when people write things that are so attention seeking.

I agree about games, I block them.  I am a Farmville player now and I had to go unblock Farmville so I could get bonuses from the game. Tee-hee!

I hide all of the game-related updates.

What annoys me the most is when people post "XX really needs a hug." And then 50 people ask what's wrong, how can they help, etc. I have one friend who does this all the time and it annoys me.

Mostly, though, I'm annoyed because I can never think of anything to update about! I always get so self-conscious about what I write! A lot of my stuff is DD related and I think that probably annoys other people, because they think I don't have anything to say outside of being a mom (mostly true). When you don't work, your world shrinks down pretty small.

Ahh, you have to! I even hide some people from my news feed.  I have a few friends who write about politics a lot and it gets heated, I just hide it or that one status pops up in my face all day.

If you go to the top right of a game post, a little arrow thing will appear and it'll give you the choice to block that person or just posts about that game. I never see Farmville, etc., posts anymore.

I think all of those things, plus when I try to congratulate people or reach out to them and hear nothing at all. I know you're busy when it's your b-day, when you have a baby, get engaged, etc. but I always make it a point to say hi and thanks when I get those types of messages from others- I thought that was the whole point- to stay connected. And I do with some people. With others, I sometimes figure they're just trying to "collect" friends, KWIM? I love getting to see friends' pics and share my own. That's been great for staying in touch!

Hmmmm...how about the fact that now BOTH of my computers have viruses courtesy of FB?!! Our laptop got infected months ago and has been out of commission, and we haven't had it fixed. So I had to use our desktop all the time. I vowed never to use an app or a quiz or any of that stuff again! In a moment of weakness I decided to become a fan of Big Prize Giveaways to try to win a MacBook. I read what it was about and thought it was safe. Yup. Got a virus within hours. Now I can't even get Windows to start up on the crappy thing! Ugh. I'm so mad at myself!!
