Andersen is 10 months and he is NOT having the purees anymore. He pretty much b!tch slaps the spoon out of my hand when I get near him with it. He loves self-feeding.
He's allergic to milk, soy, eggs, oats, peanuts and tree nuts, so a lot of popular finger foods are out (pretty much all the packaged finger foods contain oats or milk). I want to make sure he's getting a balanced diet, but I'm having a hard time. He loves fruit and diced chicken breast. Beyond that, I'm stumped.
When did you start giving regular table food? 10 months seems so young to me, but I guess if he's ready, he's ready.
Re: When did your DC stop eating baby food? And suggestions, please.
DD bailed on the baby stuff at 8.5 months. We gave her table food when we were on vacation and that's all it took. She SCREAMS if you try to give her a puree.
Most of what she eats is on your list, though. She's a yogurt andd cheese hound.
How about plain steamed veggies? DD likes broccoli (MUST give gas drops with it!), zucchini, peas, sweet potato, carrots.... Pasta. Ham. Turkey. Beef from soups or stews.

Honestly, I think DD#2 started table foods around 8 months (or a little later) and just flat out refused baby food after that.
I'm no help on ideas, though. Are there any pastas that are made without eggs? My girls always loved soup veggies if that makes and sense. Like I'd make a soup - meatball soup or chicken noodle - and then give them the veggies, meat and noodles from it. You could also give him rice, mashed potatoes, etc. beans? dd#2 loves beans.
