how's did your dd's tube surgery go friday?

we don't go to the ENT until Wednesday, but i'm pretty sure this last round of antibiotics didn't work and we'll be headed to surgery soon.

Thanks for asking!  It went great!  We got there at 5:30am, and her surgery was around 6:40.  The longest part was the check-in process.  The surgery was done in 5 minutes; the guy came out so fast I was terrified something was wrong.  5 minutes later the nurse took us to recovery where DD was just waking up.  A little cuddling from Mommy and some water, and she was as good as new!

She ate a huge breakfast when we got home, then took a 3 hour nap.  That afternoon we were out and about, and she was running around happy as can be.  Saturday we did the Livestrong 5k and a Halloween party and she was a champ.  You would never even have known she had anything done.

They did find that her left ear was infected again once they got in there, and the right one still had fluid on it.  Just cleaning those out changed her mood a ton.

Don't worry about the surgery at all, it is a piece of cake!
