Pork Loin Crockpot

Any good ideas?!?!

We usually do pulled pork with it, but I want something different.

TIA

Re: Pork Loin Crockpot

  • I made pulled pork last night and got the worst hear burn EVER. I still feel like the back of my throat is burning.

If you like Sauer Kraut you can slow cook it with the pork and some potatoes. It's like a german pot roast lol.

  • We love this recipe.  It's in my blog here:

sorry can't make it clicky, just cut and paste

  • I'm guessing you already have the pork loin so this suggestion won't help you much for this time.  But I do recommend it :)

  • DH and I take some olive oil, red pepper flakes, italian seasoning, minced garlic, and ground black pepper (whatever amounts suit your taste) and rub the mixture all over the pork loin.Turn the Crock Pot on low all day (toss in a few tablespoons of water for some moisture) and when we get home from work it is perfect.

We take the same olive oil/spice mixture and toss cut-up sweet potato pieces in that mixture. Then we roast them in the oven on 350 for about 20 minutes.

    MMMMMmmmmm! It's delicious!

Warning: the red pepper flakes may be more or less appealing to you in your pregnant state.

Also, I've heard that Italian Seasoning can send women into early labor. OWT or not, you may want to modify the recipe to fit your tastes and comfort level.

  • This is the easiet crock pot recipe you will ever make.   Throw a pork tenderloin, 1 jar of bbq sauce (any flavor you like) and 1 jar of sauerkraut into the crockpot and cook on low for 8-9 hours.   Pork is sweet and literally falls apart...not a huge fan of the kraut but DH likes it.  I will Bob Evans mashed potatoes with this.
