THe more of 1 sex (gender) you have, the more you will continue to have that gender?  For example, BIL (dh's bro) has 5 girls, they were told if they kept going they have a HIGH chance to continue to have girls.....I would like to have a boy and will prob go for #3 (LATER) but was wondering if there was truth in this...Obviously Id feel blessed with any gender but just wondering....

I don't know.  I think the probability might go up but it's also possible to have the opposite gender.

DH has 2 older sisters.  Obviously having 2 girls didn't rule out a boy for them.

My cousin has 2 boys.  Her Dr. told her that if she went on to have another, she would have a high probability of having another boy.  She's decided that 2 is enough for her.

I've heard that. My mom is one of 3 girls...and I'm one of 3 girls. So, in that situation it seems true.

DHs aunt had 11 children....10 boys and only 1 girl.

My parents  had me, girl,  girl, then a boy, then twin girls.

my mom has 3 sisters (2 girls, MC boy, 2 girls) DH has 3 brothers, my grandpa had 3 brothers and 4 sisters... i think it happens either way
