My house is the same age as me, 26! We've lived here for 6 years. I don't have an interesting fact but I do think someone is buried in my front yard. I think this because my flower bed is really a 6 foot deep cement block!
Our house is 90 years old and we have been it for 2 1/2 years. It was completely rehabbed before we bought it, so it has all the old hardwood floors and woodwork throughout but all the new appliances, wiring and heating/ac unit, windows, etc... we love it!
Ours was built in 1983. We have lived here 2 1/2 years. Interesting but sad fact is that the family who lived here previously, their 13 year old son was killed by a gang member. I didn't know this until I came home one day and there were flowers and a card on our doorstep.
We just sold a house that we built a year and a half ago due to DH being transferred =( But we also just bought one that is 16 years old that we love. We move in on December 11th, YAY!

Our home was built in 2002. It was the model for the neighborhood so no one lived in it till 2004. They lost the home to foreclosure in 2007, it has only been lived in for 3 years. Everything in this house still looks brand new which is awesome.
We have owned the house for almost four months and moved in 2 months ago today. We're newbs.
Our house was built in the 1970's - not sure what year exactly - I could ask the previous owners - my parents - though. There was at least one owner before them though, they bought it in 1989. We bought it from them last July (2008).
We had actually bid on two other houses in the area and they both fell through - sellers issues. We knew my parents wanted to move and they found a condo in the building that they wanted to move to for the exact price that we could buy for so it worked out perfectly. They didn't have to go through all the work of showing the house and we didn't need to have an inspection and all of that.
They don't care how we change things either (we have painted every room) and we already know the neighbors - so it's been perfect!!!

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
We live in a barn. I have no idea how old it is, even though I'm sure DH has told me. He is converting it into a house. I love our kitchen (one of the walls is an original barn wall) and our spiral staircase.
DH has lived here for about 5 years. I've been here since we got married in May.
Ours was built in 1948, completely remodeled & had an addition built on in 1996, and we've done some additional remodeling & interior switching and rebuilding since we've been here. We bought the house and moved in 4 years ago last August.
Re: Poll: How old is your house?

Your house still may be bugged! lol.
It's cool that there are so many old houses! ?
Our house was built in 1949, which is cool because all my mid-century furniture feels like it belongs here.
