We aren't planning on find out the sex of the baby, but we've talked about names since we've been together for over 8 years. We're set on the boys name (thank you Red Sox!)

We're set on our girl's first name, but cannot decide on the middle name: we've considered Morgan, Andrea...and that's about it.

Jayson Andrew

GIRL:
Paige XXXXXX.

Is there a reason for the random Y in Jason? I strongly prefer the name spelled traditionally

I like Paige with a really feminine middle, maybe Alexandra, Adriana, or Aurelia

We decided to spell Jayson with the Y to make it a bit different...we both have kinda unique names and wanted something traditional but wanted to make it their own.

Yeah, it's her last name, though. But there is a scene where all of these Danish people are shouting "Paige Morgan" over and over. So it's hard to miss. LOL!?

It doesn't matter how it's spelled.  It's the same name whether it's Jayson or Jason.  He'll just have to correct people less when he gets older.

OP:  Paige is very nice and I agree with pp to go with a very traditional middle name.

 My name's Shaun, DH's name is Marc. We're used to spelling our first and last names. I remember that my mom always spelled out my maiden name and I grew up thinking it was normal - I'm sure my kid will do the same, no matter if it's spelled Jason or Jayson.

I see there is no changing your mind about the y but I also hate it.  It dates the name because so many people are doing that this year.  Camryn, Gavyn, well anyone who has the ability to change the name to have a y in it is putting it in there.  So he wont have to spell it to people because most people will be very use to Jason spelled that way by the time he grows up.
