I know the recommendation is to split it into 5 parts and eat one a day. Is it bad to eat more than that? My DD is doing a science project involving pineapples and I happen to have 3 full cores at my disposal and they don't taste THAT bad. I was thinking of eating 1 full core a day for 3 days..I O'd yesterday. Any thoughts??
Re: Is too much pineapple core bad??
Why not? Can't see how it could hurt. Or at least I haven't heard of any reasons not too.
Though I am sure if you googled enough you'd find something that says otherwise
What do I know. You know how it goes!
I dont know about the pineapple recommendations. Anyone care to enlighten me?
Thanks in advance!
Lucy, It is supposed to help with implantation..however---- The question I have is how in the he!! do you eat it?? No one has ever answered. I am not sure how you chew it (It is like rock hard) It is even difficult to cut. I am assuming people chop it up and swallow it like a pill..but if you take hte whole core and cut it into 5..that would be ONE HUGE PILL..
sorry I can't tell you how to eat it but I know what it is for...
Great when you get home and you start eating...please let me know how you eat it...I am soo curious...I am not sure you could even blend it like in a smoothy..it may be too hard..I am bewildered
I blended mine in a smoothie... I cut the 1/5th into half and the blender didn't have any problem chopping it up for the smoothie.
If you get a really ripe one (very yellow in color) then the core really isn't that tough. It's kind of chewy but if you leave a little of the sweet part on there and eat it together, its not bad at all.
All I could find in my googling efforts regarding eating TOO much is that it can cause hot flashes and you want to be sure to not eat it prior to O as it can affect your CM ph...too acidic. I did notice after eating the whole core in one sitting, my mouth was kind of numb for awhile. I think I'll eat a little here and there throughout the day but still the whole core in one day rather than 1/5 a day. We'll see....at this point, I'll try whatever!
