Just wanted to say hi. I am currently pregnant with baby number 1 for dh and I. I really would love to adopt someday and figured if im going to be lurking I should let you know im here lol. DH comes from a larger family (everyone has ATLEAST 4 kids) and I come form a small one. He would like a big family which im ok with but I dont think I can do this pregnancy thing 3 more times, and adoption has always been on my mind. Where is the best place to start looking for info on adoption. We know absolutely nothing, but would really like to learn more!! TIA for all that im going to learn from you ladies! Just wanted to say also I have a new level of respect for all woman after being pregnant but I honestly think people who adopt are truly the heros.

Welcome and congratulations on your baby girl!  I would just start researching on the internet and maybe reading some books about it.  Amazon.com has a wide selection of books.  Also, you might just want to start looking at some agencies that are in your area.  Good Luck!
