Do soap opera actors never age?

Today I left the tv on all day and happened to glance up at one point and Days of our Lives was on. I was surprised to see that Stefano and Victor and 2 other ladies who I don't remember their names, looked exactly the same as when I used to watch it 15 years ago. It was kind of creepy. Their plastic surgeon sure is good!

Yes, I just admitted that I used to watch Days of Our Lives. Like sands through the hourglass...

I still watch Days too and some of the characters still look like they did when I first started watching 15 years ago.

I follow prevuze.com which is a blog that gives the next days episode.  If I happen to see it on tv it stinks though because I am already a day ahead.  Not like it matters because that show is so predictable.

Did you watch it today? What is the lady's name with the big huge nostrils? She was wearing a purple fuzzy thing around her neck today. I can't remember her name and it is driving me crazy!

I had this exact same experience a few months ago. I left the TV on when I went to errands, and when I came back, there was Marlena looking identical to how she looked when I was in college. This must have been fifteen years ago. I don't know, I stopped watching when she was possessed by the devil.

The really weird part to me is that babies are born but are teenagers something like five years later, and then they're all getting pregnant, so Marlena is probably a great-grandmother but she still looks like she's 40.

Hmm. I honestly don't know which person you are thinking of. If it is driving you nuts you can describe the scene they were in. I could probably help you out on that one.
