N E ONE ever have a walking cast?

please please please tell me that the pain goes away in a few days....that my poor body will get used to it. i had to leave work early....I can hardly walk. My foot hurt way less without the stupid cast on....

My broken bone hurts because I have to put pressure on it now.....I am pretty sure I have no skin left on my ankle bone inside my cast....my toes are swollen and my shin hurts sooooooo bad everytime I take a step and it has to drive into the front of my cast.....and of course I have to work on my feet all day long. To top it all off I was so uncomfortable last night that I had trouble sleeping....how do you sleep with this freakin thing on???? uggggh!

(luckily I was able to leave early today and have the weekend off)

I haven't ever had one, but I know my Aunt had one for exactly two days. She said it was so much torture that she called the Dr. and made them do something else. The Dr. put her back in a regular cast for a few weeks until her foot was better healed. Good luck! At least you have some time off work to sit around and stay off of it.

ooohhh that sounds so painful.  My right ankle was twisted so bad in Feb of this year and it still hurts.  I am afraid to have it looked at because I do not want to be in a cast.

O girl I hope this pain goes away and if not call your doc for some pain killers. I really don't think that it should hurt this much....GL
