Did you get your doggie back? keep us posted

Re: **ILoveBoys***

  • Smile Thanks for caring enough to ask! It made me smile. YES we are getting her back. DH should be leaving work to go pick her up right now. BUT they said we are not guaranteed to get any of her stuff back. (We sent her bed, blanket, meds, food, toys, leash, nail clippers, two brushes, and 3 things of treats. I bet they'll keep it for use on their other doggies.)

Needless to say, DH and I are coming up with a much better plan to give her space away from the kiddos...thinking putting a crate up that she can go be in if she wants, and we can shut the door??? Not sure if that's a good idea or not. So....yeah. Apparently, it was $75 to surrender her and they're making us pay half the adoption fee to go pick her up ($75 is half). And if we have to buy her more food or whatever..  Embarrassed   DH is all like "thats a hard pill to swallow" and probably feeling like Angry at me right now.

  • Lesson learned I guess, you can chalk up it to life experiences! I'm glad to hear your doggie is coming home. and if you lose those supplies, I guess they can go to other doggies in need, so that's good.

We have our two doggies in a BIG crate (they are little doggies). They love it, it's like their little home. When we bought it, our vet said dogs are very territorial and like their own space, a place they can call home. So I think that's a great idea!!!
