Anyone with a mural in your nursery

What kind of paint did you use? Acrylic or regular wall paint or something else.

Re: Anyone with a mural in your nursery

  • Regular wall paint - in a semi-gloss - the main (light aqua) wall paint is flat.  My dad is a graphic artist who does murals for a living and that's what he always uses.

  • I painted jungle animals around the room and used acrylic paint. They only cost 99 cents (or less if on sale), and came out great on the wall, dries quick and easy to use.

  • Wall paint for the background stuff, acrylic for the details.  For example, we have a beach mural and the sky, sand, and ocean are wall paint.  But the umbrellas, towels, beach buckets are acrylic.
