Avery always did well with taking an occasional bottle. She also had bottles during the day for a whole week when I went back to work. That was about a month ago. DH and I went out for his birthday this past weekend and left DD with my mom. She refused the bottle and screamed bloody murder when trying to give it to her. I have since been trying to get her to take a bottle at least once a day. No such luck. Any tips?? I have tried feeding her on breast and switching to bottle, waiting until she wasn't starving, waiting until she was really hungry..nothing! I need to get her to take bottle or I will never be able to leave her! Aghhhhh

I agree with pp about trying different bottles/nipples. Maybe one that is more like the breast would help? And also with Dad feeding her. DS gets a bottle from DH every night, but when I try it is a fight.
Also, are you using frozen milk? Has she ever had frozen milk prior to this? Some women have excess lipase in their breastmilk which can make their thawed frozen milk taste bad, and they often refuse it.
I went through the same exact thing in August. She had been fine taking it and then we stopped for awhile and she wouldn't take it. We tried all different bottles and she finally started taking the Playtex Drop Ins. Your LO will eventually take it. If you have to go out while someone feeds her then do that. It took us a few weeks for DD to start taking one again and now she drinks out of them like a champ! Stick with it!! I know it is soo hard and frustrating.
