babymoon ideas in Colorado?

My hubby and I are wanting to take a trip and we can't really afford to go all out but we just want to get away for a few days and we were thinking maybe Colorado. Anyone know of a nice resort/lodge that is in the eastern or southern part of Colorado?

Yes! Check out the Broadmoor in CO Springs. It's gorgeous! They have packages, so I bet you could get a deal. Lovely spa, many restaurants. And definitely make room for the Sunday brunch. It's the best. I live near Denver and we use it as our close getaway on occasion.?

The Broadmoor is nice, although pricey. What time or year are you looking to come and what type of things would you like to do? Unfortunately, many of Colorado's winter attractions (skiing, hot springs, hot tubs) are no-nos for when you're pregnant. But there are some options for R&R at a nice hotel with some limited sightseeing in resort communities. Or you could visit Denver for more city focused activities.

We are looking to go maybe around the end of January...i know most places are focused more on skiiing which we aren't going to do we just want a nice place to go for some R&R...where are the places for that? I'll have to check the broadmoor and see how pricey it is.

I think the Broadmoor would be perfect for you. I'd give them a call and see what packages they can work out. I've gotten decent deals before and got my parents an anniversary package that included some spa services and dinners. Good luck!?

Prices will be high in ski towns then but you still may have some options. I would check out the Broamoor as previously mentioned. I would also look in to hotels in Downtown Denver where you could dine, see a show, shop, and do the spa. (Favorites are the Brown Palace, Hyatt, Magnolia). Also check out Grand Lake, Estes Park, and Steamboat Springs. Durango is also a fun town and off the beaten path.

Check out the forums for Colorado on TripAdvisor.com (I'm a Destination Expert over there) for plenty of good tips/info about each of these places.

The Broadmoor is beautiful, but I believe it can be pretty pricey.  If you're interested in Colorado Springs though, I would also suggest checking out The Cliff House (https://www.thecliffhouse.com/).  It's actually in Manitou Springs which is right next to C. Springs and they frequently have great deals on their suites (some of the bigger suites are themed and they're really fun) they also have a great restaurant.  Manitou is a cute little town with nice shops and it's really fun to walk around.  I would also highly recommend Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, CO b/c it's always gorgeous there, but in January you probably wouldn't have as much to do (except stay in bed and relax!) and there's the possibility the roads would be bad.  My husband and I always stay at this cute place that's on the border of the park  - Inn on Fall River (https://www.innonfallriver.com/) it's always very relaxing! Not sure if this is really your thing, but when DH and I want to get out of the city for a weekend or whatever we usually try to find a vacation rental on vrbo.com.  Estes Park would be nice, Manitou Springs, Woodland Park.  You can really find some nice places for cheap (especially if you stay away from the ski areas as mentioned above) and with a kitchen you don't always have to go out to eat.

I would check out Breckenridge, and Estes Park. I love Estes Park because it is the home of the Stanley Hotel, and the Stanley is abesolutely beautiful.
