FB? Can you withdraw a friend request?

I know they will get an email that you added them, but if you are just sitting in their "inbox" can you remove yourself?  I added someone I don't even know (by mistake) and they are just ignoring my request. No big deal, but I'm wondering if I can just remove myself?

You should be able to cancel it.
