so i found a clinic giving the vax 40 mins from my house tomorrow and saturday. do i go and wait in line and get the vax or should i wait until the pedi gets it, which they still don't have it and can't give me any indication as to when. i am thinking they will not have it until november some time.
if you are doing the vax for dc, wwyd? oh and Carson is in daycare fulltime.
TIA!
Re: h1n1 vax question?
We're in the same situation. The gov't center is going vax on Saturday morning. Our pedi highly recommends getting the vax but doesn't know when they will be getting their shipment in.
DD and I are going on Sat to get it. IMO, I'd much rather her get it now than wait for the pedi to get it in.
thanks, this is what i am thinking. i might get him a little early from school tomorrow and drive up there so i don't have to deal with it on Sat - i would think they would be more busy on Sat.
They are starting here on Saturday (through the health dept.). I was at the pedi on Monday and they have no clue when its coming.....they don't even have a "tentative" date.
We are going first thing Saturday morning and I am crossing my fingers that we can get it.
Also, has anyone heard about the amount of shots needed for the kids? At first, I read that kids under the age of 9 will need 2 shots, but someone yesterday told me they heard that has changed.
My concern with waiting for the pedi's office to get it is that if they do need two doses, then I'm afraid by the time the 2nd dose is needed, they will run out.
I am thinking that if we get the first dose this Saturday then when the pedi's office gets it in 3-4 weeks later, I can go there for the second dose.....
