ETA: on the site it says for ages 1-2. DD is almost 2 and her feet barely touch the peddles. Our neighbor is small for her age but she's almost 3 and is just getting the hang of it.
We have this one...the Radio Flyer Steer and Stroll. DS LOVES it. He is able to pedal on his own now. The only thing you have to be careful of is the pin that holds the handle on will break if you try to oversteer. DS is a bigger kid and it still fits him great. You can move the seat when they get taller. We will be buying DS a regular bike with training wheels for his birthday since he has gotten so good at pedaling and the trike will be handed down to DD
It converts from the trike to the chopper. I love that it's super sturdy BUT it says it's for ages 2+ (DD got it for her 2nd b-day) and she still can't reach the pedals yet (she's 2.5 now). We had to put blocks on the pedals. I also wish we had one with a parent push bar (we tie a rope aroudn the front and pull her). Overall, great for an older kid who knows how to ride a bike. No so good for a first bike.
Re: what tricycle do you have for your toddler/
DD doesn't have one (we'll get her one for her b-day) but our neighbor has this one and DD LOVES it!
