Does your DC like scary stuff??

My DD can't get enough scary stuff.  She loves all of the trailers for the Harry Potter movies, and she really likes music that sounds scary.  My FIL let her watch "Thriller" (which I wasn't "thrilled" about, ha), but she loved it.  Thought it was awesome.  We took the kids to a Halloween store this weekend to check out costumes, and as soon as we walked in, there was this gigantic bloody skeleton in chains hanging out at the front, along with a Hannibal Lecter mannequin (complete with straight jacket and face mask).  She didn't even blink.  And when we rolled by the freaky person's house that thought it was cool to decorate for Halloween using crucified baby dolls, ghoulish skeletons, and baby dolls roasting over a pit, she asked me to "slow down."  I told her I didn't really like all of that stuff, and she goes, "It's okay, Mom.  The babies and the skeletons like being outside in the sun.  They're all friends." 

Normal?  Does your kid love scary crap?  It really surprises me, too, because she's kind of a rainbows-and-kittens sort of girl - loves ballet, animals, Barbies, princesses, etc...and then she pulls this kind of freaky, I-love-scary-stuff thing out of nowhere.

Loves it. We just got back from Disney and her favorite rides were Snow Whites Scary Adventure and the Haunted House (especially when the ghost comes in your cart at the end). LOL

Today she said mommy I really want to go back into that scary Halloween store now (as we were driving past it). Nothing scares her.

She kind of likes skeletons, but if they have eyeballs in them, she freaks.
