Blanket for stroller?

Obviously we could use a regular blanket in the stroller but it seems to always end up underneath the wheels or falling onto the ground.  So what should I get that stands a chance at staying in the stroller?  DD is not the snuggle down with a blanket type so it needs to keep her warm but not be in her way.  I am considering a sleepsack but not sure if that would be warm enough to make a difference.

What if you safety pinned it to the straps with those big diaper pins?  I have some with a safety catch so they're pretty hard to undo if you're not an adult.

I have the Bundle Me Toddler for my DD.  I completely understand the blanket issues...it's always dragging on the wheels and the ground.
