diapers that leave rash on leg

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
DD has been getting a little red rash along her leg near her but cheek.  I know it is her diapers.  I tried switching her to Pampers Cruisers but they didn't wprk.  Right now she is wearing Parents Choice (walmart generic) and it looks really bad.  I put Vaseline on it, don't know why really....but I felt like I had to do something.  Anyone experience this?  What should I do?

    DD has had this happen before. She only wears a diaper at night, so I know that's when it happens. I think it was from putting it on too tight.

    Yes. It happened with huggies - nothing else. Try another diaper. For the rash, get some Benadryl cream (not ointment, cream is better); it will knock it right out.
