she is too sweet.

She was so excited when we became active, i think she called everyone on earth.

This was her conversation with my great aunt:

Mom: yay! They are officially active, R&C are adopting!

Aunt: awww.... they can't have kids of their own? (insert eye roll here from my mom)

Mom: yes they can! They are adopting i told you!

 

I just thought it was so sweet that my mom said something for us that really means something, and that through her own research, is understanding the feelings and emotions associated with the process and what we are going through.

Just wanted to share.

How great that your mother gets it!

 My mom gets it, too, but she sometimes forgets the correct terms or phrases...we just had a talk about saying "kids of their own" a couple days ago.
