AW: New Sigs and update on me!
Hey gals! I have been doing alot of lurking and answering things here and there but between DH's accident and taking care of two sweet little girls- I have barely had time to come up for air! Corrina is an amazing big sister and she LOVES herself some Kaya! She has given her the nickname of Kai and covers her in kisses whenever she can! Kaya is growing like a weed. She is 11 weeks old and at her 2 month appt weighed 12lbs 4 oz!
Now, on to DH's accident- at the beginning of Oct he decided to burn a pile of leaves he had raked (city slicker who had never burned leaves before made a huge error in judgement...sigh). He wound up in the ER and then being transferred to a burn unit about 45 minutes away from us. He had 2nd degree burns on his hands and face- it looked awful and he was in alot of pain. I felt so helpless! But after being monitored and checking out ok, he was released after spending the night and has spent the last few weeks healing. The bad thing about 2nd degree burns is that they are the most painful- the good thing is that they don't tend to scar. His face is almost back to normal (I notice some singed hair in spots) but all in all he is doing much better! Thank goodness, things got pretty scary there for a bit!
But anyhow I just wanted to pop back on and see how everyone was doing! I can't believe I go back to work next month- HOW is Kaya almost 3 months old?!?

OMG -- I'm so sorry to hear about your DH!! Glad that, all in all, it sounds like he is going to be A-OK!
And those girls --- GORGEOUS!!!

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry to hear about your dh's accident. Hopefully you guys are hanging in there and he's on the way to recovery!
My little one is 12 weeks. Can't believe it myself! Kaya must have been in the higher percentile.....Lila was 11 lbs. 4 oz at her 2 mo. appt and was in the 75th percentile!
OMG that is so scary! And it had to hurt so bad! I know when I burn myself a tad on a hair straightener I think it's the worst pain. I couldn't imagine! Your poor dh.
Now onto your gorgeous kids! Kaya is adorable and Corinna is just as beautiful as ever. Seriously one of the cutest kids I've ever seen.
