Think I've made a decision regarding the H1N1 vaccine . . .

In case anyone cares LOL! I've been on the fence as it seems many of your are also. After reading the article posted about the pg women, doing research and discussing it with DH I've decided that if offered they (boys) will get it. I'm erring on the side of caution.

I actually read all the vaccine posts.  I've decided to get it too and apparently dd's pedi went from saying not to get it, to now recommending both seasonal and h1 but doesn't have either available in his office.  I'll be getting dd the vaccine and it has to be the shot due to her asthma like symptoms.  I also have asthma.

A month ago I said NO WAY to the thought of it. Now - we are planning  on getting it next week.

We got the H1N1 shot last week (me, DH, and our two year old).  We have a four month old and I don't want any of us getting sick, if possible (with the flu).  We also got the seasonal flu shot a few weeks ago.

We've had no problems with it.  I'm thankful it's out there for us to get.

Yeah, I am pretty certain that I will have the kids get it but am still on the fence about me since I do not think my doctor will carry it, I will probably get it if I can find it.  Our Pedi is waiting for the shots to come in - DD is too young for the mist and DS has a history of RSV and pneumonia so they want him to get a shot instead of mist.  Part of me is still nervous even though I really believe it is the same as a regular flu shot which they already got but with DS' history and DD getting the croup constantly I feel like they would be considered the kids with pre-existing conditions.  I think Minna's post is what really helped my decision.
