SBMBride406:gizmo909:Wow.  I've only been on this board for 3 months, but I think this is the first time I've ever seen the snarky side of some of you.  To the OP... I'm going to assume you weren't trying to offend anyone, but your choice of words was pretty offensive. 
I think the only other time we collectively got mad was when some crazy came on and asked us all if we had DNR orders for our preemies based solely on gestational age. That was a sad day for our board!Some dumbass really asked this???   I wasn't here for it or missed it ...OMG !

Yes. It wasn't up for a terribly long time because a number of us were on that like stink on sh*t.

The whole post was really convoluted and I kept thinking "surely I'm reading that wrong." and a bunch of people came in and said ARE YOU REALLY SAYING THAT?

Then of course, we got some guilt trip about how we didn't welcome a fellow preemie mom and she's been there and that's why she wanted to know. IIRC, she was pregnant again after a preemie and was wanting to say she wouldn't authorize any intubation before a certain gestation.

It was awful.

to be clear, she was saying after the point of accepted viability- 24w. I'm trying to think, but I think it said something like "they say viable at 24w but I've seen what the babies go through and it's not right.."

Although it made less sense than that. You know the type.
