I've gotten friendly with a few people from this site (i.e. FB, text message, email).  Occasionally I will mention a story to DH and he will ask if I am talking about one of my "imaginary" friends.

yes he does. he tries not to talk about it- i think it weirds him out. ive only been to 1 g2g and he kept texting me to make sure i wasnt being held hostage or torchered

Yes, but he's actually met most of them and is also friends with them (and most of their husbands). My main group of IRL friends are nesties. For realz.

Yes. And he's very glad I have them and have learned so much. But then DH and I met in a chat room so internet friends are not an oddity for us. Several of our friends we met online and went to GTG's and became long lasting friendships.

DH is pretty religious, so whenever someone on here is having a hard time I share her story and ask him to talk to God for her.

I am so new to this that I honestly have not even mentioned it to DH yet.  But I can say with all certainty, that the above is probably exactly how he will act.  I know this because he is pretty steadily making fun of my facebook "friends" and I know (or knew) all of them!

Yes.  He knows about the ones that I have real friendships with.  Mostly becuase we've exchanged gifts for each others kids and hung out and what not.  He calls Schwandy my Crazy Internet Friend.  And I've never denied it.   lol
