Trying to find a good home for a 5ish year old black lab

Hi. My dog is a black lab, around 5, named Chika. We're trying to keep from taking her back to the shelter. She's very sweet temperamented, loves to play ball, be brushed, have her belly rubbed, etc. If you're interested, or know anyone who is, please reply here or PM me. Thanks so much.

    I wanted to suggest that you post this on the Nest Twin Cities board.  There are alot of ladies on there who are really pet/animal passionate and seem like they might have a strong network that could help you find someone.  Just be honest about why you need to find her a new home and I am sure they would help!

    Personal reasons......there's nothing wrong with the dog. :)

    Sad. I could pry, but I won't.

    If you can't find someone you know to take your dog, Petfinder.com offers free classifieds. (Petfinder is where we found our dogs.)

    Post some ads in your neighborhood...local coffee shop, pet store, etc. 

    Also Black Dog Rescue MN might take your dog.  (If the link doesn't work, Google it for contact info.)

    Try any and all other rescue orgs before dropping your dog off at a shelter. Please.
