I'm sure we all have, lol. But I understand if you need a break- I had to take a break for a couple of months when we were having trouble TTC after the m/c this winter- it was just too much. It helped and then I appreciated the support here even more! I do hope everything's okay

For one, we are probably taking the dog back to the shelter. (I posted about her a couple days ago) I know it's completely irresponsible to "give her back" after we adopted her. We can't find anyone to take her, and she's not happy here w/us anymore. Since we moved she's eaten toys, started shedding more, peed on the carpet several times (right after going out to pee sometimes), gotten into the garbage which she had never done before, she wont play ball with us anymore when we try, she sleeps a lot, and she growled at the boys last weekend. We don't know what to do. Vet says she's not sick.

For two, whenever AF shows up, next month we're going to start ttc #3. I got my two boys on the first month, and am hoping to be that way this time too. But for some reason I can't let myself get my hopes up and it's keeping me from getting really excited. Then I feel bad bc DH is super excited.

Well, sorry to hear about the dog, but you have to do what is best for your family...and the dog.  If it's not working out and you're worried about the kids, then I think you know what you need to do.

GL with ttc! Maybe just make "trying" FUN! ; )

You have to do what's best for your family.  I believe that the issue with the dog was that she growled at one of your boys.  The only thing that I might suggest is taking the dog to a behaviorist to see if they can help.  Unfortunately, there are some dogs that don't tolerate young children and then, IMO, you don't have much of a choice.  You can't live in fear that the dog is going to bite one of the boys.

Good luck TTC!  Hopefully it's as easy the 3rd time around as it was the first 2.

ditto!  gl with ttc and try not to stress about it.  it will happen when it happens.

My boys were 2yrs and the other was 4 mos old when we got her. They are a lot older, noisier, more rambunctious now then they were then. And they like to try to rough house with her now. I don't think she likes it.

Thanks for the TTC luck. I think I'm just afraid to get my hopes up that it'll happen quickly. KWIM?
