Just wondering how other little kiddos reacted to the shot. I am mainly concerned about fevers since Katie has seizures when she gets a fever above 102.
will do! i called yesterday and they did not have it yet. they are thinking it will be closer to November before having it. i have called children's, our county's health district, kroger and walgreens pharma. just crazy!
I will send you a message on FB. You can call my pedi's office to see if they will give you one. I'm not sure if they will or not since you aren't an established patient. You would have to venture down into NKY past Florence though. We could always meet up for lunch and a vaccine playdate.
I just found a link where our county is having a clinic on Saturday for pg women and children 6-35 months. I'm on hold with the pedi to see how they feel about me taking Hailey to get the shot. I'm also going to call my OB to see what they say.
I'm a hospital employee and actually JUST got my H1N1 AND Seasonal flu shot about 2 hours ago... still sore from both!
Unfortunately, our state hasn't released the H1N1 shot to the general public yet... my sons aren't able to get theirs until 10/31 when the state holds it's "mass vaccination clinic." We will be lining up for their shots though. Our state has also run out of pediatric seasonal flu shots. They had appointments for the seasonal flu shot scheduled for tomorrow, but our pedi called to say they're out and to check back weekly. I checked with EVERY clinic/office/hospital in the COUNTY... and everyone is out of pediatric flu shot.
Re: Anyone get the H1N1 vaccine yet?
no, i can't freakin find it........where are you getting it?
At her pedi's office. She just got her first shipment in this morning. I just happen to call at the right time.
Maybe call your pedi back today to see if they received anything in.

No. DS couldn't even get the seasonal flu shot at his pedi's office yesterday because they ran out of shots.
Hope your DD does well with it.
