Cribs for under $300?

Ok so my DH and I where not planning on buying another crib, but since DD's old crib was recalled in 2006, the company will not sell us the replacement parts! Now we have to spend the money on a crib, and we cannot decide. We cannot afford to spend more than $300 on it.  If you have a crib that you spent less than $300 on it, would you mind telling me where you got it?

My sister found out that the crib she bought in 2006 was recalled when she couldn't find the parts to put it back together after they moved. She had to send them the tag from the bottom and two rails and they sent her a coupon to get a brand new one. Did you check into that?

  • We got the Graco Sarah from Walmart (they had the best price and 97 cent shipping).  Total was around $160.  We love the crib and it seems very solid!
  • We have the baby mod cadence from walmart- it was $219 with free site to store shipping.  the baby is not here yet, but we both really like it.  it gets good reviews, too.

  • JC Penny has a lot of cribs that are well under $300.

I have the Tori Collection from there...but the crib is $349 (minus whatever coupon code you use).   They do have the tori in a honey color that is discontinued and is $299 (and you can use a coupon).

  • Shouldn't the CO you got the old crib from replace your old one if it's been recalled?

We got ours at Target for $240, they were having a sale so the price was a little lower then normal but we got the mattress for free. I love this crib and it'll convert into a toddler bed then into a full size bed when our son is older.

  • If you like modern, we just got the Baby Mod Olivia crib and we love it!
