Stupid elefun game!!!!!

TODAY IS DS BDAY, AND ALL HE WANTED WAS THAT LITTLE ELEFUN GAME THAT HAS BEEN ALL OVER TV. I GOT IT AND GAVE IT TO HIM THIS MORNING--WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP! THE POOR KID WAS SO EXCITED TO CATCH THE BUTTERFLIES WITH THE LIL NET. WELL THE THING DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO SHOOT THEM OUT THE TRUNK OF THE ELEPHANT. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. JUST WANTED TO VENT. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, SENDING FROM MY PHONE.

It's funny that this is in caps b/c it makes you sound SUPER pissed. Thanks tho, for the psa - that looked like a great, age appropriate and fun game.

we have it and it works fine, but when we tried to use off brand batteries the same thing happened...we needed  name brand

I would exchange it because mine works better than this.

I would exchange it for another. We have this and DS LOVES it. It works fine. There's sometimes one butterfly that won't come out, but the rest fly out with no problems.

ETA: Sounds like you should try new batteries first.

I agree. We got it a while ago and it was CRAP! We took it back!

Ours works fine (although sometimes a few butterflies get stuck), but I just put it away because I hated retrieving all the lost butterflies...

Ours works fine, btu you need good, fresh, batteries. once the batteries are less than full, performance goes way down.

My kids love this game!   My mom and the kids friends have it; they work fine.  I might put this on Nathan's xmas list!
