  • We're getting it tomorrow.  I debated a loong time over it, but since we have the new baby at home, I decided that we should just do it.  If it wasn't for the baby, I probably woiuld have held off since he's not in preschool or daycare or anything.  I'd like to hear if anyone who's had it has had any "reactions" to it?  Like, when DS got his first flu shot a couple years ago, he got a fever that night.  But ever since then, he's not had any reaction to it.  I'm hoping he won't have any reaction to this one.

  • It's pretty much next to impossible to find here. Big article in today's newspaper that our town just got 1300 doses shipped to them. That's not going to go far in a town of 80,000 people.
  • I will for my 2 y/o if they ever get them here - it's too late for the rest.

  • Not yet but will be getting both them and me.  The health department website here gave me listings of places to go.  Look up your local health dept.  Plus our dr. isnt getting it and not sure of when OB/GYN is getting his.
  • As soon as I can find it...  But the news just reported that all of Dallas county got 700 doses (maybe even just the mist) when they were expecting 10,000.  Not expecting anyone to have it anytime soon.  Off to my CNM office to see what they say (and for my appt.) but I'm not hopeful.
  • Only first responders are "allowed" to get it in our area...but I've heard that some people have been able to get it through their "work".  Hmmm...not sure what that is all about.

Does anyone have a clue how much they cost?

The regular seasonal flu has been $24-25 here but now that the state is OUT and we just got a tiny bit in...it's already jumped to $30 (same place that used to have it for $24.99...CVS).  Go figure.
