we got a Britax Roundabout when the local Toys R Us was going out of business, so really cheap!
Well, I am thinking there was a reason. Olivia has already reached the 1" from top height to keep her RFing. She is only 31" or so (and 20 pounds), so pretty small! I was hoping to keep her RFing much longer than this.
I drive her the most, so I want the best car seat in my car. We have a seat in DH's car that she is still RF and has another 1-2" to go, but it is such a pain with the straps.
I know DH would NOT go for buying another car seat. But, I went to Target and saw the Roundabout 50, and that thing was HUGE! Much taller than ours. She could stay RFing for quite some more time in that one. But it was close to $200.
So here are my options:
__ turn the car seat in my car FF, keep DH's RF until we can't
__ switch car seats with DH's car and keep her RF in my car and FF in his car
__ Buy a new car seat (with a major conversation with DH to convince him) and keep her RF in both cars
Re: RF car seat question - WWYD?
I'd probably switch seats with DH and keep her RF in your car. Whenever possible, I'd take your car.
I can't believe that she is only 20lbs! What a little peanut!
wow! i can't believe she is so little. b/c she is small i would keep her rf in both cars and get the new seat.
just tell dh he has no choice, lol.
