Kids puzzle organization???

How do you keep your DC's puzzles organized?  DS has a bunch of the Melissa & Doug type and the pieces are constantly getting everywhere!  We don't have a lot of space so I can't buy one of those cool organizers, but I need to do something.  I would love any ideas-right now they are stacked on top of each other on a shelf and DS will pull one out and there are puzzles and pieces everywhere!!!!

If they are stacked on a shelf, then the organizer won't take up anymore room than that, if you are talking about the wire stacking ones?  That's what we use, works great!  Or you could put the pieces for each puzzle in a plastic baggie and put them all in a box, and just stack the boards.

What about this for 21.99 and it would not take up much more space than the stack of puzzles are taking up now

I put a little piece of magnet strip on the back of the puzzle pieces and on the board for DS's M&D puzzles that had the wooden pieces. It helped to hold them in a little better so they wouldn't just fall out and get lost. I just stacked them at the bottom of his bookshelf then and we managed to keep most of them together that way.

Thanks ladies,  I knew there would be some good ideas out there!  I like the baggie and magnet ideas.
