This is what my pattern says:
Chain 56 loosely (64, 72, 80) Join in a loop with a slip stitch, being sure not to twist the chain
Row 1 CH 2 (count as first DC) DC in each SC around , join with a SLST in the top of the CH 2
Row
2-3 SLST around CH 2 of row 1, CH 2, *BPDC around next st, FPDC around
next st* repeat around and join with a SLST in the top of the Ch 2.
(Bind off if you plan on using a different color for the body of the
soaker, otherwise continue on to Row 4.)
Am I supposed to do 2 more rows of DC on top of the first & then do the binding? Or am I supposed to get 2 rows by slip-stitching in every hole? I fail ![]()

Yeah....I like scarves....a lot....
This is the first round thing I've ever attempted.
For row 2:
Slip stitch around the chain 2 that started row 1. Then chain 2, and do repeats of back-post double crochet and front-post double crochet, back and forth throughout the whole row.
For row 3:
Slip stich around the chain 2 of row 2, then chain 2, then do the BPDC and FPDC repeats around, to basically make a ribbing.

Are you doing the Little Fire pattern? I just posted my longies in my stash post below.
Dr. Loretta's right.
Yep, that's what I'm attempting. I still don't get the "around" part...I did my row of DC and then did the slip stitch through the top hole of the ch2...so I don't know what hole is next for another one.
