Pregnant after 35

S/O RLP

What does RLP feel like?   I just started having this "stretching" feeling in my lower abdomen...kinda like cramping...but not...doesn't necessarily feel like its only on one side...just feels like a pressure and stretching..sorta like when I was first pg.

Could this be RLP?

Re: S/O RLP

  • I think there are a lot of aches and pains that go into pregnancy - especially while you are growing.  But my RLP is pretty painful.  Like a sharp stab in the side...like I pulled a muscle.  It makes me cuss like a sailor sometimes!  Haha!

  • I'm sure it could probably be RLP.  I think it's one of those things that can differ from woman to woman.

Mine is pretty sharp too.  It happens sometimes when I'm not doing anything but sitting and then it's not as painful.  When I'm in bed and try to get up or turn over and it hits me, it's like WOW, that hurts!  I can never stand up right away when it happens like that either.

  • Help me out, please,  RLP isn't in the glossary.  what is it?
  • Round Ligament Pain, mary...

Mine were never all that bad.. more like the stretching feelings.

'Course... I got birthin' hips to begin with, so take that for what it's worth!

  • thanks!  I've got them birthin' hips too, which may attribute to my not remembering anything about this, but then again my last pregnancy was 11 years ago... it all feels new again!
