Playtex Drop-Ins - Anyone use these with breastmilk for their newborns

I am going to be trying to start my twins on a tandem schedule right away - eat play sleep - and want to pump so I can bottle feed them at the same time or take turns -bottle feed one/breast feed one. So my question is, are the "drop-ins" any good? They seem so much more convenient than washing so many bottles all day long. There is also a attachment so you can pump right into the drop-ins apparently...any feedback is appreciated! Big Smile

  • i like the bottles but my babies do not like the nipples.  they are big nipples.

  • I used them with my oldest DS.  He went well from bottle-breast, so no concern there.  My issue was the fact that you always have to buy the liners.  That gets expensive and is wasteful. i switched to some Gerber bottles at about 6 mos.

  • I used them with DD. They were fabulous. FYI Target sells a generic version of the drop in liners that work just as good and as like 1/3 the price. DD never had any trouble with the nipple. We didn't try them until she was a month old. She refused to ever jump up to the fast flow nipples. She liked it slow which I found odd considering that I had really fast let down.

  • I forgot to say i didn't pump directly in them. I froze my milk because I worked, so I pumped into the Medela or Laniosh (sp?) freezer bags.
