Spelling help

If someone said this was their name, how would you assume it was spelled?[Poll]

Re: Spelling help

  • Edited because I did not read the question properly:

I voted for Juliette simply because I like it better but I would assume Juliet.

  • Oops, I didn't read your question carefully.  I voted Juliette b/c that's the spelling I prefer, but I'd actually assume anyone with the name spelled it Juliet (thanks, Mr. Shakespeare!)

  • I don't think I have ever met anyone with this name so I don't know what I'd assume, but I voted for and strongly prefer the French spelling, Juliette.

Just like Nicolette, Babette, Annette, etc... I know Juliet is the English spelling but it just looks incomplete to me.

DH thinks Juliette looks too "froofy". I like both, but I want to pick a spelling that will least likely be misspelled. Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it!

  • I would assume Juliet.
    Sadie is not impressed.

  • Juliette looks prettier.

  • I like Juliet.  This is near the top of my list.

Also, my daughter's name is Scarlett and people NEVER spell it correctly.  Always spell it with one T.
