If you could change one thing about yourself...

...and one thing about DH, what would they be?

Re: If you could change one thing about yourself...

  • Me: My belly. I never used to have one when I had the time to run all day long. Loved that part of my early 20's! After this baby, I will be pushing TWO kiddos in a jogging stroller. Hopefully that will help some more;)

DH: It's hard b/c he's a pretty cool guy. Uhh... maybe his non-holiday-ness. He never celebrated ANY holidays as a child (parents were immigrants and times were tough). He never had Christmas trees or gifts or anything. Wish he was more into it. Would make the holidays more fun for all of us!

  • My lack of organization skills when it comes to the house.

DH-  His tendency to lay stuff everywhere.

    Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers
  • me-  Physical-  my struggle with weight.  i would just be skinny!!  ha ha ha.  mental- the fact I wear my heart on my sleeve.  I take everything way too personally!!

Dh-  the fact he never finishes a project 100%.  everything is 75% done.  no matter what is it.  Whether a big project like renovating, or something small like doing the dishes.  I HATE that when DH says I will do the dishes, I come down the next day and there are still 2-3 dishes in the sink.  Come on, if you do 1, do them ALL!!!

  • me - patience

dh - his lack of neuroticness (nice word and sp, right?) when it comes to the kids.?

  • me - i wish i could make a decision and stick to it. i vacillate between decision.

DH - eh right now i've got no complaints.  talk to me in a while, i might think otherwise Wink

  • Me: the fact that I'm always late. It causes me a lot of anxiety and embarrassment, and yet I haven't been able to change -- and having a baby only made it worse.

DH: the amount of effort he puts into how he looks. I've tried telling him that wearing mesh shorts, knee-high compression socks, and sandals isn't a good look, but he wears them out in public anyway! He thinks he can get away with it as a triathlete, but I miss how well he used to dress.

  • Me- definitely my belly. It looks like an old balloon. Crying

DH- I wish he were easier to talk to. Sometimes I don't tell him things because he will take it the wrong way, or just not have anything nice to say.

  • Me: Less introverted and shy.

DH: I'd make him filthy stinkin' rich!! lol. Okay, I'd make him less of a slob and more of a help with housework, without me telling him to do it.

  • me: procrastination

    dh: motivation

  • me: keep a more organized and clean home...and my gigantic legs!

DH: nothing really....he's pretty good as is.
