Success after IF

Dr's office just called. Apparently. . .

My pap smear came back normal but I "might have a yeast infection"??  It was just some tech girl I talked to and she couldn't tell me anything except that the dr. has called in a perscrption.  But this is no big deal, right?

I know they're more common in pregnancy, but I've never had one before that I know of, so I am a little curious.  (And I don't have any symptoms that I know of.)

Yeah, and sorry because I know I totally could have put "yeast infection" in the subject line but I just couldn't bring myself to do it :)

  • Yeast infections can typically get uncomfortable because they can be itchy.  Sometimes there's a mild one and you don't even realize it.  I had one as well while pregnant (and didn't know it) and I just did an over the counter remedy and it was gone.  Good luck!

  • I had one a couple weeks ago and my doctor called in something that I took vaginally for 3 days.  She acted like it was very common and no big deal.

I've never had one, so I'm no help, but this made me laugh!! I'd be the same way!

  • I had one at the time of my pap while pg and I didn't use the prescription.  One thing I did do was switch to all cotton panties.  I know - not the most attractive, but I figured I was already pg, so what was the difference?!?  I didn't have them comment the remainder of the pregnancy and haven't had one since.  Good luck!
