38w check up...

All is good.   None of the induction talk this week!   My BP is still wonky---148 on my right arm, but only 124 on the left.  Go figure that one out.  Doc isn't worried about pre-E tho, since last week's tests were all good and there's still no protein issues, etc.

FIrst internal check today, too, and the baby door is still firmly closed and looks good.   Kiddo has just started to head south, but doesn't seem to be in a hurry about it.  Let's just hope he/she doesn't get in a sudden rush to play outside.  

Which is all good, since Doc is getting her first vacation in MONTHS this week.  She so deserves a break--she's got her flipflops and swimsuit packed!   She even leaned over and told the kid, "You can't come out until after Sunday at 9 pm when my flight comes back!"

Congrats on being full term!  My OB told me BP can vary by arm based on the baby's position.  One arm was 155/80 something and the other was 108/52 last time I went in.

Thanks for that info, BFC.  I was afraid I'll start walking in a weird circle or something with that kind of off-balanced readings!  My left foot keeps swelling a lot more than my right as it is!

Maybe Quasimodo for Halloween if I make it that far??!!
