xmas gifts for nieces/nephews

What kinds of things do you buy for your young nieces and nephews? I have 3 boys to buy for (twins 2.5 and nephew 4). I tend to buy something clothing related but then I also like to get a toy of some sort so I am not the boring auntie.I tend to do that with friends kids too sometimes depending on the prices.

Is this what you do?

We buy movies!

We send each of them a movie and some "stocking stuffer" type things.

I have 3 nieces and I usually let my girls pick out something for them.  Usually a toy and some art supplies.

Last year, I got them subscriptions to National Geographic Little Kids.  It was a hit!  My dd gets it as well, and she loves it.

Edit:  I picked up the most recent issue of it at Barnes and Noble and wrapped that up with the gift certificate they provide when you order so that they had something to open at the time.

Savings bonds are also great.  They aren't much fun now, but they will love you for them in the future.  Besides, they will be getting so many gifts for Christmas that they probably won't even notice an extra toy or whatever.
