where to hang mobile

If you did a DIY mobile, where/how did you hang it over the crib? Just wondering b/c I thought that maybe a ceiling hook, but wouldn't that be too high?

I would just get some Nylon string and attach it to the top of your mobile. That should get you the desired length that you are looking for.

we are hanging ours over the changing table, and I'm probably just going to put it on a ceiling hook so that it won't be too low that we run into it while we are there.....working...

I hung ours from a ceiling hook and used fishing line so you wouldn't see the string.  Then I could hang it at the desired height.
