I need an idea for book storage!

I have a lot of things going up on the walls already and I don't want to get a standing book shelf.  Do you have any ideas boo storage that's not one of those two things.  I found all of MY old children's books in my parents basement and I love them.  (Dr. Suess and Bernstein Bears, ect.)  Looking for suggestions!  Thanks!!

What about getting an unfinished wood bin and painting it, and then have it sitting next to the rocker/glider?  You could also get a big metal tub (like one that holds beers and sodas) and paint it.  You could also cover either one with fabric or decoupage.

I thought about that but our glider is not in the nursery.  It's in the living room.  But I still might find a couple of wooden bins and decorate them.  I know Michael's had a couple that I liked. Thanks

We got this from onestepahead.com and painted it to match the dark furniture in the nursery.  Not a traditional bookshelf.

This.  I'm putting baskets in 4 of the squares and using the others for books and such.
