I cannot seem to find anything showing when it will be available in mist or shot. I am pretty certain that the pedi will want DS to get the shot b/c of respritory illness history but have no idea when it will be available or where and the state website is not helpful.

Re: NJ and H1N1 vaccine - anyone have info
I know here in CT we have the mist available only. No shots yet, and they said it may be a few weeks.
Since dd had mist of seasonal flu last week, she can't get H1N1 for 3 more weeks anyway.
my Dh's company makes it- and today they JUST gave it out to their employees- so i expect them to be shipping it out this week. I'll be getting it on saturday morning (they do family over 10 y/o at his office, too).
I would not get the mist - esp since you have a baby at home. It's a live virus and not recommended for anyone who is around young babies.
My Pedi's daughter got horribly sick from the flu mist last year- so he will not give it out anymore... esp the H1N1 because not much is known about the virus- so giving it out LIVE in the mist to him, is too risky... i agree with him.
we'll all be getting the shot in this family (except the twins... unless they are still recommending in Dec that it's worth getting it that late- b/c that is when they will turn 6mo)
