My wedding dress had to be converted to a corset back and I have left over fabric from the conversion *really pretty material* I had always thought I would have it made into a baby blanket, but maybe looking for a differnt idea! Thanks!
If I'd ever had a girl, I would have made a christening gown (infant baptism/dedication) out of my wedding dress for her. I'm having boy #2 and then we are done, so I don't have any other great ideas!
I don't think I'd do a baby blanket if you were actually going to use it all the time but that's just me. I have to wash DS's blankets a lot, and I don't think the delicacy of my wedding dress would hold up to repeated laundering even on gentle.
My Mom made her wedding dress and made Christmas Ornaments (they look like little apples) with the leftovers. 32 years later and they still have so much meaning!

Sort of unrelated to baby but my mom made a Christmas Angel tree topper out of the extra fabric from my dress...
