Ideas for extra fabric

MIL made new "hangy things" on the crib mobile for DS#2 using sheet fabric from the bedding and then solid coordinating colors. She has extra fabric, but I can't think of anything to do with it. Pillows seem pointless since they can't go in the bed, and the rocking chair cover already goes.

I did a lot of lined baskets last time but I also think I'm kind of over that.

Any ideas?

Here is the bedding.

Thanks!

Re: Ideas for extra fabric

  • what about teething pads for the tops of the crib rails.  I've heard alot of babies bite them when they start teething.

  • A bolster  for the rocker, burp clothes, a drawstring back to take odds and ends in the diaper bag, wrap around cheap picture frames to co-ordinate with the room, wall art (either around letters of LO's name or just big ole squares on the walls in different sizes of the same shape).. maybe?
  • What about making stuff animals.

You can mix up the fabrics and make a few different options. the good thing is that you know that their safe, and you can throw them in the washer/dryer to clean.

    Good luck!
