Ceiling Fan

The furniture for our (girl) baby's room is a dark cherry. Our bedding is Sugar Plum by Cocalo.  We'll paint the walls some kind of light lavender.  I want to get a ceiling fan but not sure which way to go.  I don't know if white would not match much because of the furniture (white ceiling, btw).  But the fans that match the wood in the furniture tend to be rather masculine looking.  Any suggestions?

I tried to match our fan to the fans in the rest of the house.  I figure it's not going to be a nursery forever.

Not a bad idea to go with the ceiling color.

I prefer darker fans so if we had to put one in I would go with dark wood blades (our furniture is espresso). But I don't think that really matters in the grand scheme of things, I say find one you like and go with that!

This. All of the ceiling fans on the second floor of my house are the same.

We got a white one and painted it to go with the room. Just remember to sand it first.

i like to go with white for fans to match the ceiling....that way it blends in and you can change the room decor for years to come without even worrying. i like when the fan blends in...to do it's purpose not overtake the room. good luck.
