This is one I registered for at Walmart, I think its the cool mist. Is it the one you have? do you like it?

We got it.
But to my surprise it works really well and it's totally quiet! DH and I have been using it for the last few nights because our bedroom is so dry.
We have a warm/cool mist one. We actually bought it for ourselves, but Henry gets 1st dibs on it now.
Make sure you only use it as needed. If you use it all of the time it can cause mold to grow.
It is recommended that all babies rooms have a humidifier, regardless of how humid an area you live in. And lets not forget that winters, with the heat running, are extremely dry.
It is not recommended that you get a warm mist humidifier, as this heats the water and can be a burn hazard. The most recommended kinds are ultrasonic. The way it converts the water also stops the growth of bacteria. If it is used and cleaned regularly it won't grow mold.
Cool mist humidifiers can be big ol' tanks of bacteria and mold. And they because of this they usually require filters.
We've been guilty of buying the cute ones in the past, but quickly learned that they don't last long. And could be doing more harm then good.
